About this policy
Warp Hosting is operated by Warp Studios Pty Ltd in Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit the website, create an account, operate a game server, contact support or use live chat.
Information we collect
- Account details such as your email address, display name, session and account status.
- Server configuration, game choice, location, usage, billing state, support activity and audit records.
- Information you provide in contact forms, launch-interest forms, affiliate applications, email and live chat.
- Technical and security information including IP-derived anti-abuse signals, browser details, approximate location and Turnstile results.
- Campaign attribution from the link you arrived on, such as UTM parameters and Google or Meta click IDs. We keep it with your account when you sign up, together with your answer on the privacy banner.
- With consent, website events such as page views and button clicks.
We do not send server files, console content, passwords or contact-message text to advertising analytics through ordinary website tracking.
If you choose “Use my location” in the network planner, your browser provides precise coordinates only to that page. They stay in your browser and are not uploaded to Warp Hosting.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate customers, provision and secure servers, deliver paid services, calculate usage, protect worlds, prevent abuse, provide support, send requested launch and availability updates, improve the service, measure which advertising leads to sign-ups and sales, and meet legal obligations.
If you apply to our affiliate program, we use your application to assess it and reply to you. If you buy with an affiliate's code, we record that they referred you so we can pay their commission. We don't give the affiliate your name, email address or server details.
Providers and overseas processing
We use providers including Cloudflare for hosting, storage, DNS, security and Turnstile; infrastructure operators for game-server capacity; Resend for transactional email; Trustpilot for independent service reviews and neutral post-service invitations; tawk.to for live chat; and Google or Meta for analytics and advertising measurement. These providers may process information outside Australia according to their service locations and subprocessors.
If you arrived from a Google ad and then buy a server, we tell Google Ads which ad click led to the purchase: the ad's click ID, when you paid and the amount. We don't send your name, email address or payment details. We don't do this if you chose Decline on the privacy banner. You can change that answer at any time below, or ask us by email.
After you launch or purchase a server, your launch-confirmation email may be securely copied to our Trustpilot invitation address so Trustpilot can send one neutral review invitation after you have had time to use the service. This may include your email address, name, server game and a transaction reference. Reviews are optional, public and are not rewarded or filtered by rating.
Cookies and sessions
An essential secure session cookie keeps you signed in. It is HTTP-only and is not used for advertising. Optional analytics and advertising storage is enabled only after you choose Allow measurement. You can change that choice from Privacy choices.
Security and retention
We use encrypted transport, hashed session credentials, short-lived sign-in codes, tenant checks, rate limits, audit records and restricted infrastructure credentials. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We keep information only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal or accounting duties.
Your choices
You may request access or correction, ask us to close your account, unsubscribe from launch updates, withdraw optional measurement consent, opt out of purchase reporting to Google Ads or raise a privacy complaint. Every marketing update will include an unsubscribe option. We may need to verify your identity. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Measurement and purchase reporting follow your answer on the privacy banner, which you can change here:
