Conan Exiles guide

How to move your Conan Exiles world to a dedicated server

A whole Conan Exiles world, with every base, thrall and character, is one database file. Copy it across and your clan carries on.

Find your world

On another server, it's ConanSandbox\Saved\game_0.db, or game.db on an older server. Stop that server first, so the file holds everything, then download it.

This guide covers worlds from another server.

Upload it

  1. Add the mods first. If the world used mods, add the same Enhanced mods on the Mods tab, in the same order.
  2. Stop the server. Press Stop in your dashboard.
  3. Upload the world. Open Files & SFTP, choose Saved/ as the upload folder and press Upload to Saved, then pick game_0.db (or game.db). Files up to 96 MB upload in the browser; a bigger world goes over SFTP (Generate SFTP credentials), up to 2 GB.
  4. Wait for the safety scan. Press Refresh until the file shows Passed safety scan.
  5. Start the server. Press Start. The server opens the world.

Good to know

  • Servers run Conan Exiles Enhanced. Older (Legacy) mods don't load on Enhanced, so look for Enhanced versions on the Workshop.
  • ServerSettings.ini, Game.ini and Engine.ini go in config/. Rates, PvP and building damage are in Settings.
